What to Expect When You Arrive

What Can I Expect On My First Visit?

There are two entrances to the building: one in the front and one in the back.  The back entrance has a handicap ramp and takes you into the educational wing of our church that has easy access to the sanctuary.  You will find that we are just the right size for people who want to be a part of a family.  You won't leave our church without being greeted and welcomed.  If you have a question, just ask!  Our hope is that you will feel welcomed as soon as you walk through our doors.

When Is Your Service/What Is It Like?

Our worship service is traditional, so we sing hymns, have an order of worship in a bulletin, the minister wears a robe, and the choir sings an anthem.  The service starts at 11 AM.  Even though we have a traditional style of worship, we're very informal.  We love to sing and we love to laugh.  Most people dress casually and we have a few suits here and there.  You can grab a bulletin at both entrances to the sanctuary that will tell you what's happening.  Feel free to sit anywhere because there are no reserved seats.  Our minister preaches sermons that touch us right where we're at in our lives.  Now all you have to do is sit back, relax, and worship with us!

Where Do I Take My Children?

We enjoy hearing children in our worship service.  They too are a part of the family.  Feel free to keep your children with you in worship, or we have a nursery staffed with loving adults who will gladly care for them.

How Do I Join?

If you find that LaCrosse church is the church for you, there are ample opportunities each year to join.  You'll be given the chance to attend a new member class.  The class is generally on a Friday night with dinner followed by Saturday morning with breakfast.  That's all there is to it!
